Tech giant Google has found success with its flagship OS, the Android for quite a few years now. The latest iteration for their Android OS is the Nougat, that was launched just this year.
With every new version of the OS comes a string of updates, and inclusive of these are more than 70 emojis, and a “smart” battery. This also includes a multi-window view, as well as enabling swift and smooth switching from app to app.
Samsung Phones Updates
Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users are in for a treat, as well as several other Samsung gadgets as they could be having the latest update very soon. A beta version has already been released to the public. And those who pre-registered could already download and install the Nougat 7.0.
According to Sunday Express, this has been the fourth time this year that Samsung has released a beta version since last month. Users who signed up for Samsung’s Galaxy Beta Program could get the Nougat 7.0 through the Galaxy App.
Updates for Sony Xperia X and X Compact
Android 7.0 has been available for top-of-the-line gadgets for Sony. Specifically the Sony Xperia X Performance and Xperia XZ much earlier, having done so in September. Just recently, the said tech giant has also announced through a tweet that both the Xperia X and X compact would be getting updates for Nougat 7.0.
As of the moment, countries including Latin America, Turkey, the Middle East, Vietnam, Thailand, and Australia already have the said update available for their users. Other Sony Android phone models, such as the Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z3+, and all Xperia Z5 phones are slated to be updated within this month.
Apart from the units mentioned above, the latest set of Xperia units, including the XA and XA Ultra would be scheduling theirs early next year.
Apart from Samsung and Sony, the Android Nougat 7.0 updates would be available for LG and Nexus Devices as well.
