Samsung Galaxy Note 8: What We Know So Far

The Galaxy Note 8 is one of the most anticipated phones this year. Here are the complete details of what has been unveiled to the public.

The hype for the much anticipated Galaxy Note 8 from Samsung is indeed increasing as time goes by. Samsung had experienced one of the darkest days of its history. This was when its previous Galaxy Note 7 went in for a total recall due to its exploding battery issues.

No More Battery Defects

Now, Samsung will do its very best to make sure that it won’t happen again with the Galaxy Note 8. Samsung is reported to be tripling its efforts in ensuring that the Galaxy Note 8 will not suffer the same fate with its predecessor.

With this, it makes perfect sense for the company to make up for the devastating effects that it had in its reputation. According to reports, the Galaxy Note 8 is said to be the best mobile phone in the market. It is reported to come out by Q4 2017.

It is also said that it will feature very thin bezels that matches its wrap around display. It will also be roughly the same size with its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 7. However, it will have a bigger screen and display, enabling a more vivid user experience.

Specs to Expect

There are even reports that it will also feature a 4K display. This will make it the very first phone that will feature such a big upgrade. It might even possibly have a new OS, making it stand out among the rest of the competition.

This OS is reported to be named LineageOS. It is an open-source OS which will make Android phones easier and less prone to bugs and technical issues. Surely, Samsung will be doing its best to make the aesthetic features of the Galaxy Note 8 look remarkable.

Rumored to only be less than 8mm, if it proves to be true, and then this will be the thinnest Samsung phone ever made. Then there’s this ultra-fast wireless charging feature that Samsung seems to have for its Galaxy Note 8.

Various reports also claim that it will include an Exynos 8895 chip. It is also reported to have 6GB of RAM, making it the most powerful phablet upon  its release.

Even the S-Pen stylus is rumored to have its own speaker, making it multifunctional. Surely, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be a very good competitor to the upcoming iPhone 8.
