Apple May Surprise Wall Street with the iPad

As the latest upgrade of the mobile operating system – iOS 11 – becomes extensively available later in September, iPad’s global replacement cycle can gather up steam over the following several quarters.

Growth in the Tablet Market

In early June, the company previewed the iOS 11. It is when Apple launched an advanced multi-task feature and AR support that allows mobile apps place VR on real world scenario.

Similar OS would run the latest iPhone models of Apple. It is expected to be launched in the U.S. next week.

Biggest AR Platform

According to the chief executive of Apple, Tim Cook in a press release in August, iOS would turn into the biggest AR platform of the world as soon as the iOS 11 is available. This is because there are millions of individuals currently using actively the iPad and iPhone.

The iPad sales helped strengthen the financial result of the company for the June quarter. It is when Apple posted revenue of around $45 billion. This includes sales of tablet for around 11 million units. In the same period in 2016, the tablet sales were only 9 million units.
