In the latest PlayStation news, Japanese tech company Sony is rumored to finally be developing the heavily rumored PlayStation 5. The PlayStation 5 will be the successor to the ever-so-popular PlayStation 4. It will be the flagship that will lead Sony on top of the console market.
But in order to make this happen, Sony claims that the PS5 requires “PS4 Ecosystem” for it to fully counter its rival, the Xbox Project Scorpio. Microsoft has been catering towards the demands of the console owners and has incorporated backwards compatibility to the upcoming Scorpio. Sony chose to take the streaming service path. This is where players are required to pay some additional payment in order to play some old games that they loved. Sony already has hardware plans for its upcoming PlayStation 5. Because of this, fans are already excited about the incorporation of backwards compatibility mode for the PS5.
