Former phone giant Nokia, according recent rumors, is slated to release two new Smartphones either later this year or early next year. This will depend on how long the development and testing of these phones will take.
Based on a report by tech site Gizmo China, the phones will have a Snapdragon 820 chipset, and will also be equipped with a Z-Launcher System User Interface, which comes with the latest Android update.
Other speculated features of these two phones include having screen sizes of 5.2 and 5.5 inches, respectively, an IP68 certification, a 2k (QHD) resolution on an Oled screen, and possibly even fingerprint scanners. Furthermore, the phones are also believed to be water and dust resistant. The phone is also expected to have an all-metal case and have sensors of high sensitivity.
This is part of the first wave of smartphones to be manufactured under HMD Global, which was granted by Nokia an exclusive global license to manufacture and release tablets and phones with the Nokia brand throughout the decade just last May.
